On December 12, 2021, an article was published in the news newspaper about the mission carried out to the active volcano of Cumbre Vieja on the island of La Palma in the Canary archipelago.

Tests at la Palma (2) (With EMAE support)
Given the eruption in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, our team took the oportunity to take to the field the instrumentation of the ocorruencies:
- There was a high altitude balloon launch
- There was a buoy drop
- It was installed several stationary monitoring boxes that were taking measures of environmental data, namely:
- CO2
- Particulate Matter
- SO2
- Temperature
- Humidity
La Palma tests (1) (With support from VOLRISCMAC II project)
Following the eruption of the La Palma volcano, a team traveled to the island and installed sensors to measure the concentration of CO2 in the air.
São Miguel testing (Azores)
On the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, tests were carried out at sea to test the following operations:
- Communications tests
- High altitude balloon launch tests
- Solar powered buoy test
- Buoy release mechanism test
- Subsea probe test
Coordination meeting at the University of the Azores
Coordination meeting at the University of the Azores with different members of the consortium where all developments to date were discussed. In addition, the tests that took place in the following days were also prepared.

Workshop in Guimaraes
Workshop at the University of Minho with the various members of the consortium, where different prototypes were developed and the planning of operations to be carried out in the Azores prepared.
