On December 12, 2021, an article was published in the news newspaper about the mission carried out to the active volcano of Cumbre Vieja on the island of La Palma in the Canary archipelago.

Given the eruption in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, our team took the oportunity to take to the field the instrumentation of the ocorruencies:

• There was a high altitude balloon launch
• There was a buoy drop
• It was installed several stationary monitoring boxes that were taking measures of environmental data, namely:
  • CO2
  • Particulate Matter
  • SO2
  • Temperature
  • Humidity
